M. Lavanya scored a hat-trick as Ramkrishna Sartha HSS (Tamil Nadu) defeated Our Lady of Rosary HS (Goa) 5-2 and moved into the under-17 girls’ semifinals of the 53rd Subroto Cup football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Sunday.
G. Priyanka netted a double to complete the tally for the Tamil Nadu outfit. Freya Estibeiro struck a brace to reduce the margin for the Goa school.
In the semifinals, the Tamil Nadu girls will meet Government Mizo HS (Mizoram). The Mizoram side beat Tyrsad HSS (Meghalaya) 2-0.
