IMG-R-IPFCA meeting is postponed

The planned meeting between Indian Professional Football Clubs Association (IPFCA) and International Management Group-Reliance (IMG-R), following an initiative from the (AIFF), stands postponed to an indefinite date.

It is learnt that the AIFF general secretary, Kushal Das, told IPFCA president Raj Gomes about IMG-R’s move to defer Wednesday’s meeting. The major issue is availability of I-League players for an IPL-style franchise-based event, conducted by IMG-R, which was appointed as the federation’s marketing partner.
