Sabina Khatun’s brace helped Sethu (Madurai) defeat India Rush Soccer Club (Mumbai) 3-2 and book a semifinal spot in the Hero Indian women’s league here on Wednesday.

It was the third consecutive win for Sethu in four games.

Sabina scored the equaliser after India Rush Soccer Club took the lead through Samiksha.

Sethu skipper Indumathi, who was adjudged the player of the match, put the Madurai outfit ahead before India Rush Soccer Club levelled through Nisha.

Both teams were locked 2-2 at half time.

Sabina’s winner late in the second half sealed the deal for Sethu.
