Duff leaves Newcastle for Fulham

Ireland winger Damien Duff has left relegated Newcastle to sign a three-year contract with Fulham in the Premier League.

Duff scored in Newcastle’s season-opening draw with West Bromwich Albion in the League Championship but he ended his three-year stint with the club on Tuesday to return to west London, where he previously played for Chelsea.

Fulham opened the Premier League season with a 1-0 win at Portsmouth.
