Sepp Blatter remains adamant that football will not use TV replays to review decisions as long as he is FIFA president.
Blatter said that football’s governing body will “not use monitors to stop the game” and that bad refereeing decisions must be accepted because “there are always errors in life.”
Blatter’s time as FIFA chief could continue for some time, as he confirmed again that he would stand for re-election in 2011 if asked by FIFA’s Congress.
The FIFA president was in the United Arab Emirates to attend the Club World Cup, which culminates in Saturday’s final between European champion Barcelona and South American champion Estudiantes. He deemed the event a success that provide a spotlight for worldwide club football.
