With an eye on beefing up the technical know-how ahead of the 2017 under-17 World Cup, All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Praful Patel, on Wednesday, suggested the formation of a special committee involving former and current skippers Bhaichung Bhutia and Sunil Chhetri.
Experienced coach Derrick Pereira’s name has also been recommended to be part of the panel. The Coca Cola Cup will form the base for talent scouting for the Indian team for the 2017 event and boys born on or after January 1, 2000 will be eligible.
