Bagan holds East Bengal

February 10, 2013 12:28 am | Updated 12:28 am IST - KOLKATA:

The oldest football derby of the sub-continent ended goalless as Mohun Bagan and East Bengal failed to unsettle each other’s defence in the 20th round match of the I-League on Saturday.

The barren result did not help either of the sides as East Bengal appeared to lose its leadership position while Mohun Bagan remained stuck in the relegation zone at the bottom of the standings.

The result: Mohun Bagan 0 drew with East Bengal 0.
