England win toss, invite India to bat

England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to bowl against India in the fifth and final ODI here on Friday.

England have made three changes in their playing eleven, bringing in Samit Patel, Jade Dernbach and debutant Johnny Bairstow in place of Chris Broad, James Anderson and Ben Stokes.

India, meanwhile, have made just one change, replacing injured Praveen Kumar, who sustained a sprained ankle, with R Vinay Kumar.

England lead the five—match series 2—0.

Teams:

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Parthiv Patel, Ajinkya Rahane, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, Ravinder Jadeja, Suresh Raina, Vinay Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin, RP Singh and Munaf Patel.

England: Alastair Cook (capt), Craig Kieswetter, Jonathan Trott, Ian Bell, Ravi Bopara, Jonathan Bairstow, Samit Patel, Graeme Swann, Tim Bresnan, Steve Finn and Jade Dernbach.

Umpires: Nigel Llong (England) and Billy Doctrove (West Indies).

Third umpire: Marais Erasmus (South Africa)

Match referee: Jeff Crowe (New Zealand).
