T. Rajah Ram (61 n.o.) and T. Senthil Kumar (61 n.o.) chipped in with crucial knocks as Jolly Rovers Cricket Club fashioned a seven-wicket win over Coimbatore Raiders in the TNCA-CDCA first division league at the SNR Sons College grounds here on Saturday.

The scores : Coimbatore Raiders 161 in 44.1 overs (J. Suresh Kumar 64, B. Abenesh four for 17) lost to Jolly Rovers CC 165 for three in 31.4 overs (T. Rajah Ram 61 n.o., T. Senthil Kumar 61 n.o., G. Aakash Kunikullaya three for 25).

Qualifiers spotted

Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, host PSG College of Technology ‘A’, Coimbatore Institute of Technology and Surya College of Engineering (Erode) entered the league stage of the seventh PSG Tech Trophy State-level inter-engineering handball tournament at the PSG Tech courts in Coimbatore on Saturday.

Sri Krishna CAS wins

Hot favourite Sri Krishna College of Arts and Science won both its matches with relative ease in the district volleyball league championship, for the T.S. Natarajan Memorial Trophy for men, at the VOC Park Corporation Sports Complex courts in Coimbatore on Friday.
