Districts-I scored 245 runs for the loss of eight wickets off 90 overs on day one of the TNCA round robin u-16 tournament match against City-I here. In reply, City-I finished the day on 17 for the loss of one wicket.
The scores: Districts-I 245 for eight in 90 overs (A.V.R. Rathnam 51, K. Kabin Sanjay 47, S. Siddarth 36, K. Madan Kumar 39 not out) vs. City-I 17 for one in 10 overs.
Districts-II 196 for nine in 90 overs (Guru Raghavendran 57, P.J. Navin Surya 32) vs. City-IV.
