Exhibiting optimism ahead of the upcoming World Cup, former New Zealand skipper Stephen Fleming believes that Black Caps and Australia would make the final to contest for the coveted trophy.

Fleming, who has played four World Cups, said that New Zealand and Australia would make the final, adding that South Africa would be close and West Indies were the dark horse, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Pointing out Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Brendon McCullum, and Daniel Vettori as the star players, Fleming further said that the beauty of it was that he could name three or four players to watch out for and that was why he was optimistic about the cup.
