Mohammed Shami out of UAE match with knee injury

Shami is suffering from a left-knee injury and was administered ultrasound injections.

India will miss the services of pacer Mohammed Shami against UAE in Saturday’s ICC World Cup cricket match here as he has been ruled out owing to a knee injury.

Shami is suffering from a left-knee injury and was administered ultrasound injections. He has been rested In order to prevent aggravation of the injury, according to release sent by media manager RN Baba.

Shami has taken six wickets from two matches and has been India’s main wicket-taking bowler in the tournament. Stuart Binny or Bhuvneshwar Kumar would replace Shami against UAE.
