February 06, 2013 03:14 pm | Updated 03:15 pm IST - CANBERRA, Australia:

Opener Shane Watson marked his comeback from injury with a dashing 122 from 111 balls on Wednesday as Australia set the West Indies a target of 330 to win the third limited-overs international.

Watson, returning from a calf muscle injury, shared partnerships of 89 for the first wicket with Aaron Finch (38) and 112 for the second with Phil Hughes (86) before his mistimed hook shot off Kemar Roach was caught on the deep backward square boundary by Keiron Pollard.

The Australian middle order combined to lift the total to 329-7, with George Bailey contributing 44 from 22 balls at the Manuka Oval. The Australians easily won the first two matches of the series.

Brief scores: Australia 329 for 7 in 50 overs (Shane Watson 122, Phil Hughes 86, George Bailey 44; Darren Sammy 2 for 49 runs).
