Unbeaten double ton by Uthappa

A scintillating unbeaten double century by KSCA XI’s Robin Uthappa lit up the proceedings on the opening day of the KSCA Safi Darashah Trophy on Wednesday.

Uthappa batted through the day to make 223 (276b, 25x4, 4x6) against the Jharkhand Cricket Association. KSCA XI reached an intimidating 393 for two at the end of day’s play.

In another match, pacers Ronit More and Stalin Hoover helped KSCA President’s XI bowl out Cricket Association of Bengal for 262. Both More and Hoover recorded figures of three for 57.
