Jonathan Trott was declared the CEAT International Cricketer-of-the-year 2010-11 at the CEAT Cricket Ratings felicitation function here on Saturday.

The England batsman was also declared the International Batsman-of-the-year. He received Rs. 10 lakh for the two awards.

England's James Anderson was adjudged CEAT International Bowler-of-the-year, Virat Kohli the International youngster and Gautam Gambhir was chosen for the match-winning award for his splendid 97 in the World Cup final against Sri Lanka.

West Indies' former fast bowler and captain was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award. All the award winners were presented a cheque for Rs. 5 lakh. The awards are for the period May 1 to April 30.

“The CCR international awards function is a tribute to stalwarts of world cricket and reiteration of the close association CEAT has with cricket,” said RPG Enterprises chairman Harsh Goenka.

“With cricket moving to multiple formats we have focused our rating system to recognise the individual performances,'' he added.
