Timex gets product licence of ICC 2011 WC

Watch maker Timex Group India on Friday said it has got the licence from the International Cricket Council for launching products using the logo of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 is scheduled to be held in the Indian sub-continent.

Under the arrangement, the company said it would launch a range of products with ICC logo in 2011.

“The ICC cricket World Cup 2011 is the most-anticipated cricket event in the world and it gives me immense pleasure to announce Timex association in this high-profile event,” Kapil Kapoor, Vice-Chairman of TGIL Board, said.

The company launched its new ‘Statement series’ with brand ambassador and Australian cricketer Brett Lee.
