Ticket sales for Nagpur ODI against Australia to start on October 19

The sale of tickets for the second one-dayer between India and Australia, to be held at Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA)’s new stadium at Jamtha near here on October 28, will begin on October 19.

This will be the first-ever ODI under lights at the newly built stadium and the 14th one-day international to be hosted by VCA.

The sale of tickets for members of the association and VCA Recreation Club will commence from tomorrow and go in till October 18. From the next day, tickets will be up for sale for general public, VCA President Sudhir Dabir told reporters on Tuesday.

Both the teams will be arriving here on October 26 from Vadodara by a chartered flight.

Mark Benson (England) and Amish Saheba (India) will be on field umpires for the match.

Shahvir Tarapore and Sudhir Asnani will be third and umpires respectively, while Chris Broad act as ICC match referee, Dabir added.
