The Boys HSS (Trichy) registered a 25-run win over Modern SSS (Kancheepuram) in the final of the second phase of the Junior Super Kings inter-school T20 cricket championship here on Monday.

The scores (final): The Boys HSS (Trichy ) 173 for six in 20 overs (M. Hari 59, Dhanapal 29 n.o., N.S. Harish 23) bt Modern SSS (Kancheepuram) 148 for nine in 20 overs (Hariharan 39, Neelabh Nandan 36, Vineeth 27).

Special awards:Bestbatsman : Kevin Isaac (Le Chatelier MHSS, Madurai); Best bowler: Girish Nigamanth (The Boys HSS, Trichy); Best allrounder : K. Yeshwanth (Modern SSS); Player of the final : M. Hari (The Boys HSS, Trichy); Player of the Tournament : N.S. Harish (The Boys HSS, Trichy).
