The crucial ODI match between Sri Lanka and West Indies in the tri-nation series was pushed to the reserve day tomorrow due to persistent rain at the Queen’s park oval on Sunday.

Sri Lanka were 60 for three in 19 overs after being inserted by the West Indies when the heavens opened up. Lahiru Thirimanne (13) and Kumar sangakkara (11) were at the crease.

Earlier, West Indies stand-in skipper Kieron Pollard won the toss and put Sri Lanka in to bat in a crucial game of the tri-nation ODI series.

Lendl Simmons has been named in place of West Indies’ injured captain Dwayne Bravo.

Sunil Narine has also been ruled out due to injury, while Denesh Ramdin has been dropped. Devon Smith and Jason Holder have come in as their replacement.

Sri Lanka has made two changes, bringing in Jeevan Mendis and Shaminda Eranga in place of Kusal Perera and Rangana Herath.

Brief Score:

Sri Lanka: 60 for three in 19 overs (Lahiru Thirimanne 13; Kemar Roach 2/19).
