Sri Lanka Cricket reaches out to Yuvraj

In a touching gesture, Sri Lanka and its cricket team have offered their prayers and wished Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh a speedy recovery.

In a statement here, Sri Lanka Cricket said: “The President and the members of the executive committee of Sri Lanka Cricket, along with Mahela Jayawardene our National captain and the rest of the National team, the staff, and all the cricketers at Sri Lanka Cricket convey their prayers and blessings to our dear friend Yuvraj Singh for a speedy recovery.

“Our prayers are with Yuvraj's family, we are optimistic that Yuvraj will recover fast, and will be back with his colleges, representing his country once again in the near future.

“Get well soon Yuvraj, the cricket loving public of Sri Lanka too joins us in wishing you good health and best of luck on your road to recovery.”
