Jammu and Kashmir skipper Perveez Rasool said his team’s historic feat of reaching the Ranji Trophy quarterfinals was a “special one” and will motivate the players more.
“I can’t explain my feeling at the moment. We are among the top eight States in the Ranji Trophy,” said Rasool over phone from Agartala. “The boys are itching to meet Punjab, and we are not scared of any opponent although they have Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh. We are ready for a fight.”
“This performance promotes us to the B group next year in which we will be locking horns with the teams which were in Elite group earlier. From here, the challenge is to elevate ourselves to the next level,” Rasool said.
