South Zone takes on holder East in the Duleep Trophy semifinal to be played at the ACA-VDCA stadium from October 14 to 17.
East Zone won its maiden Duleep Trophy beating Central by an innings by the third day of the five-day final last season in Indore. Incidentally it was the first final for East.
The teams are scheduled to reach here on Friday night and will have nets on Saturday.
