Under pressure to act after some unruly spectators stopped play for several minutes by throwing bottles on the ground during the Twenty20 International between India and South Africa at Cuttack on Monday, the BCCI has sought a report within two days from the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA).

BCCI president Shashank Manohar has called for a detailed account of the incident — the proceedings had to be halted when South Africa, on the chase, had put itself in a winning position against India — from OCA secretary Ashirwad Behera.

Importantly, BCCI president has asked how the spectators, against ICC guidelines, were allowed to carry bottles into the Barabati Stadium.
