Sneharaj passes away

C. Sneharaj, a former Kerala Cricket Association vice-president, passed away at Alappuzha on Friday. He was 59.

Sneharaj, from Thrissur, was actively involved in cricket and swimming administration for many years. He was also the former secretary of the Thrissur District Cricket Association and, for nearly eight years in the early nineties, the secretary of the Thrissur District Swimming Association.

A man of many roles, Sneharaj was also an experienced curator and State-panel cricket umpire. He was in Alappuzha to prepare the wicket at the SD College ground on Friday when the end came.
