A devastating spell of seven for 11 by C. Arun Prakash helped Kingsmen CC bundle out Victory CC for a paltry 31 in the first division of the TNCA-MDCA league here recently.

Kingsmen CC chased down the victory target in just 3.2 overs with ten wickets to spare.

In a second division match, Durai Ramachandran’s hat-trick set up a four-wicket win for Majestic Cubs CC over Oxford CC.

The scores: I div: Spark Colts 239 for eight in 50 overs (M.S. Sri Ramnath 82 n.o., Mathivanan 44, Asik Sumra three for 35, Nallamani three for 44) bt Avengers 225 for eight in 50 overs (Asik Sumra 47, Balamurugan 36, Srinivasan 35, Sriram Prasath 32, Sundarajan, three for 42).

Victory 31 in 12.1 overs (C. Arun Prakash seven for 11) lost to Kingsmen 33 for no loss in 3.2 overs.

Spark 126 in 33.5 overs (N.S. Jai Ganesh 56 n.o., R. Valamalai three for 27) lost to TVS Club 130 for five in 34.4 overs (A. Kasi Viswanathan 28).

II div: Oxford 120 in 23.5 overs (Durai Ramachandran three for 6 (including a hat-trick)) lost to Majestic Cubs 121 for six in 26.4 overs (Gangatharan 43, Anbarasan three for 18).

Ocean X1 152 in 29 overs (Shanmugasundaram 45, Bala 38, Kirubakaran four for 22, Mani three for 24) lost to Thirunagar 153 for nine in 29.3 overs (Prabhu 28, Sriram 27, Sathish Kumar three for 12, Arun Pandi three for 22).

Super Sonic 129 in 27 overs (Arun Prakash 35, Logavel Rajadurai three for 15) bt Majestic Cubs 125 in 24.5 overs (Batcha five for 15).

Oxford 95 for three in 15 overs (Arun Kumar 33, Samya Muthu 28) lost to MC School 98 for two in 8.3 overs (Dhaya 28, Deepan 26, Senthil 26).

Oxford 147 for nine in 30 overs (S. Balasingam 40, S. Shahul Hameed 27, Kamalesh 25) bt Supersonic 131 for eight in 30 overs (Rajkumar 26, Siva Gurunathan 25).

MC School 95 in 22.5 overs (T. Thayanithi 43, Krishnakumar four for 12) lost to Majestic Cubs 99 fo seven in 22.5 overs (Sheikh Dawood three for 15).
