Right-arm off-spinner C. Senthil Kumar picked up six wickets as host Coimbatore bowled out Cuddalore for 183 on the opening day of the two-day TNCA under-14 inter-district cricket quarterfinals here on Saturday.

V. Harish scored a patient 108 for the visitors. At stumps, Coimbatore was 89 for two in 26 overs.

Santhosh hits 123

At Tirupur, D. Santhosh Kumar (123) made merry as the host went on to compile a healthy 280 for six against strong contender Kancheepuram.

Unbeaten ton by Sakthi

At Salem, C. Sakthi Santosh struck an unbeaten 104 as Tiruchi posted 264 for seven against the host.

At Coimbatore: Cuddalore 183 in 65 overs (V. Harish 108, C. Senthil Kumar six for 48) vs. Coimbatore 89 for two in 26 overs (N.D. Hari Shankar 49 batting).

At Tirupur: Tirupur 280 for six in 90 overs (D. Santhosh Kumar 123, S. Karthic Kumar 35, C. Gokul 40, S. David Allvin Nishanth four for 82) vs. Kancheepuram.

At Salem: Tiruchi 264 for seven in 90 overs (S.N. Lulith Purnesh 35, C. Sakthi Santosh 104 n.o., F. Joy Harran 53) vs. Salem 18 for one in 10 overs.

At Krishnagiri: Tiruvallur 266 in 89.1 overs (M. Abhishek 88, Rishab Sudhir 80, S. Athreya three for 37, B. Harendra four for 77) vs. Krishnagiri four for no loss in six overs.
