Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar went numb on watching live telecast of the brazen terror attacks on Mumbai last November.

“I was in the dressing room in Cuttack during our match against England when we saw it. At first I felt they were showing a movie. Things like this happening in India... in our own Mumbai....I went numb for sometime,” Tendulkar said.

“Places like the Taj, Oberoi, CST where there are always so many people being attacked. I remember going there (to CST) by train as a child. All these places are very part of myself. When these places are attacked, you are hit personally,” he said.

Asked how he felt about the incident now, Tendulkar said, "I know many people who lost their near and dear ones in the terror attacks, including my children’s friends. It is hard to believe that they are not among us."
