A top official from The India Cements Limited quashed rumours of M.S. Dhoni quitting as Chennai Super Kings captain and as vice-president of the company. Some media reports had suggested recently that Dhoni, miffed by his name being dragged into the IPL spot-fixing controversy, had offered to step down from the aforementioned roles.

“What wrong has Dhoni done? Why would we ask him to quit? If anything, he only deserves plaudits for India’s successful run so far in the World T20,” the official told The Hindu on Saturday. It is learnt that N. Srinivasan congratulated the Indian captain after the win over Bangladesh.

A team India source, who’s in Bangladesh for the T20 World Cup, said Dhoni remained calm and did nothing that appeared out of character. “After the match against Bangladesh last night, he went to his room and slept until well past noon. He appeared outside only at 3 p.m. when the boys had to leave for practice.”

Dhoni, according to the source, was his usual self in the team’s training session, bowling and batting in the nets besides enjoying a spot of football.

The source added that Dhoni invariably found a way to remain isolated from the clamour. “He doesn’t even pick up his mobile phone. Calls to him have to be routed through someone else. Dhoni doesn’t read newspapers or watch news broadcasts. He doesn’t discuss such issues with anyone in the team.”

Logistics manager to depart

Our Principal Correspondent in Dhaka reports: The logistics manager of the Indian team, M.A. Satish, will be flying back to India as soon as a replacement joins the team, which is expected to happen shortly.

Satish, it is understood, is an employee of India Cements. It is not known immediately who is going to replace him.

Notwithstanding rhetorical question by India Cements official that - What wrong has Dhoni done? Why would we ask him to quit?...,fact remains that Mr. M.S. Dhoni had uttered a white lie while deposing in front ofJustice Mudgal Commitee apointed by the Supreme Court to investigate scandal of Betting&Match/Spot Fixing in IPL-6, that 'Meiyappan was not the owner of CSK&only an enthsiast who had access to CSK dug out during all IPL-6 matches in which CSK was participating!

This was the same lie that Mr.N.Srinivasan had used to Hang On to BCCI Chairmanship during last several months even after Justice Mudgal Commitee report had indicted Meiyappan-his son in law,for betting&probable Match/SpotFixing of CSK matches!

Lying like this amounts to PERJURY that is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE&Mr Dhoni may now be PROSECUTED if some one FILES FIR against him&HENCE his India's Captaincy is totally COMPROMISED&BCCI should have SACKED him as India's Captain by now&morally he should also resign from CSK!

Great job Mr Dhoni! I know you'll not see these comments as per the
above news; I'm really happy that you just disregard the money-mongering
reporters and their crash news. This message is for these reporters.
