Off-spinner Ramesh Powar has terminated his association with Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA). He has got a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the BCCI in order to represent another team.

Powar who has played two Tests, 31 ODIs and 100 first class matches for Mumbai, played six Ranji Trophy matches for Rajasthan CA last year. ``He asked for NOC and I gave it. Now he can play for any other association. I am prepared to give NOC to anyone,’’ said Sanjay Patel, BCCI Secretary.

With no early resolution in sight to bring an end to the dispute between BCCI and RCA, the Rajasthan cricketers face the prospect of missing the 2014-15 season and Powar was forced to seek NOC from the BCCI.

Last May, the BCCI suspended RCA for an indefinite period after it elected the banned Lalit Modi as its President. Recently, the BCCI did not include RCA in its 2014-15 domestic calendar.

``We cannot include RCA in the BCCI tournaments because the BCCI has suspended it (RCA) for an indefinite period. There are hindrances if the BCCI has to chose an alternate way to enable the cricketers to be part of the domestic tournaments,’’ said Patel.
