The fourth day’s play in the second cricket Test between India and South Africa was called off without a ball being bowled owing to rain and wet ground conditions in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

With wet weather washing out play on second and three day as well, the Chinnaswamy Stadium has witnessed just 81 overs of play on the opening day.

India were 80 for no loss in response to the visitors score of 214 all out in the first innings.

Shikhar Dhawan (45) and Murali Vijay (28) will resume India’s first innings whenever play begins.
