A four-member delegation from the Pakistan Cricket Board gave the thumbs-up to the security arrangements and facilities at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Monday. The quartet inspected the venue as part of protocol ahead of the Twenty20 match between India and Pakistan here on December 25. Pakistan will open its campaign here before playing a Twenty20 game at Ahmedabad and then three ODIs at Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi respectively.
The PCB officials held discussions with the Karnataka State Cricket Association secretary Javagal Srinath and local police officers. The BCCI was represented by Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty and Suru Nayak. After the confabulations, the PCB’s media head Nadeem Sarwar, flanked by his colleagues Ehsan Sadiq, Sohail Khan and Usman Wahla, addressed the media.

They have taken care of almost everything and we have complete faith in the local administration. The police officers gave a detailed briefing and we are fully satisfied.
On Pakistan fans
We requested them (KSCA) to do the required mechanism for the Pakistan supporters who will come here. We are expecting some 500 spectators to come to Bangalore.
Mood in Pakistan
Naturally they are excited. An India-Pakistan series is a big thing and this is happening after five years and everyone is looking forward to it.
