Nirmal Kumar slammed an unbeaten 106 and picked six for 58 as Tiruchi drew its match against host Tirupur in the two-day TNCA under-19 inter-district (third stage) cricket tournament at the TEA Public School grounds here on Wednesday.
At Coimbatore, the match between Coimbatore and Sivaganga could not be played due to wet weather conditions.
The scores: Tiruchi 152 for six decl. in 42 overs (Nirmal Kumar 106 not out, Manoj Kumar three for 39) drew with Tirupur 143 for nine (G. Surender 73 not out, Sushil Kumar 34, Nirmal Kumar six for 58).
