The women’s under-19 super league Group B fixture between Nagaland and Kerala at the ACA Women’s Academy at JKC College here was over in less in 65 minutes!

Nagaland, winning the toss, batted first and made just two runs in 17 overs.

Opener Menaka opened her account (as well as team’s) with a single and the other run was added to the tally was by virtue of a wide.

The scorecard featured nine players with ducks and though four players played more a dozen balls they could not score a run.

No run was scored after the sixth over.

Kerala’s Minnu Mani bowled four maiden overs and scalped four while P. Sourabhya sent down six maiden overs and took two wickets.

Chasing three for a win, Kerala opener Ansu S. Raju cracked a boundary off the first legitimate ball after the earlier one was a wide, sent down by Deepika Kaintura.

Kerala took less than two minutes and a ball to win the low-scoring match.

The scores: Nagaland 2 in 17 overs (Minnu Mani four for 0) lost to Kerala 5 for no loss in 0.1 over.
