Continuous rain for the past three days has disturbed the Champions League Twenty20 league schedule here. Two league matches between Perth Scorchers and Highveld Lions and Mumbai Indians and Otago Volts were abandoned last Monday.
With no real chance of the third match between MI and Highveld Lions happening here on Friday, the CLT20 organisers decided to move this match to Jaipur on September 27.
Sources said that the CLT20 had hinted about the possibilities of the match being relocated to Japiur on Tuesday evening and heavy rains since dawn on Wednesday only hastened activities to put the logistics in place.
Two more matches between Titans and Trinidad & Tobago and between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Brisbane Heat are scheduled to be played here next Monday, but CLT20 organisers said that they would take stock of the situation after two days before a decision is taken to shift the matches to another venue should rain persist.
Spectators can claim refund for tickets bought for the match between MI and Lions.
