The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday announced that they will be inducting West Indies great Brian Lara and Englishwoman Enid Bakewell into its Hall of Fame.

Lara will join 66 male members of the Hall of Fame while Bakewell becomes the third women to be inducted.

The formal induction will happen Sep 15 during the LG ICC Awards at Waters Edge here.

The ICC Hall of Fame was set up in 2009, the ICC’s centenary year.

Last year West Indian pacer Curtly Ambrose, and Austrlians Belinda Clark, Frederick Spofforth and Alan Davidson were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
