“It is a fact that the focus of most of our opponents is on Chris Gayle, but we have others who also click,” said Royal Challengers Bangalore fast bowler Vinay Kumar on the eve of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad on Saturday.
“Gayle is a big bonus for us — there is no doubt about that. But we have other big players like captain Virat Kohli and A.B. de Villiers who will be joining us soon,” Vinay said.
“It is a great opportunity for me to lead the bowling attack in the absence of Zaheer Khan. He may not be playing but he is helping us a lot,” said Vinay, who bowled that decisive final over to clinch the issue against Mumbai Indians in the IPL season opener.
