Mumbai beats Punjab by 25 runs

While Mumbai Indians has won two matches in their six matches, Kings XI Punjab has only one in their 5 matches.

Riding on some excellent bowling from Bumrah and McCleneghan, Mumbai Indians defeated Kings XI Punjab by 25 runs and put their team on the right track.

Maxwell and Marsh partnership went in vain for Kings XI Punjab.

It is Mumbai now. one over, 39 to win. Bumrah continues. Miller takes two quick runs. 35 runs to win. Miller smashes the ball over mid-wicket for six. Miller takes two runs. 27 to win in one ball.

AFter 19 overs: Punjab 151 for 7

Two overs to go, 49 to win. McCleneghan starts with a wide. Excellent shot from Miller and it is a boundary and it is no ball. It is free hit. A beautiful delivery from McCleneghan. KIngs XI Punjab chase begins. Murali Vijay and Manan Vohra are the openers. Tim Southee to start the proceedings. Vijay on strike, defensive shot and no run. It is indeed a stiff target for Punjab. But if Vohra and Vijay give a good opening partnership, then we are having a match on. Murali Vijay is dropped by Krunal Pandya, a definite sitter for a fielder of his calibre.
