The intention was to go for the strokes from the word go so as to ease the pressure on the middle-order, said Wriddhiman Saha.

“There was no pressure at all. During the break, we just decided to keep scoring as many runs as possible and rotate the strike in the first six overs. I enjoyed watching Manan Vohra batting from the non-striker end. He was timing it really well and played a terrific innings,” said man-of-the-match Saha at the post-match briefing.
Asked how it was chasing a big target, against what is rated to be one of the best bowling attacks in the IPL, he said: “We just went with an open mind; to score as quickly as possible. There were no other thoughts having successfully chased 200-plus earlier,” said Saha.
R. Sridhar, the fielding coach of KXIP, felt the win was made possible because of self-belief.,
“The batters did a great job. No doubt, it was a ‘belter’ of a wicket,” he added.
SRH captain Shikhar Dhawan felt if only Maxwell had been dismissed (but for that no-ball) things would have been different.
“If you remember he hit three sixes after that. But, I must say they really batted well,” he said. “We have the best bowling attack in the death overs. Things just did not go our way.”
