Indian women clinch series

Indian women registered an easy seven-wicket win over Bangladesh in the second Twenty20 international and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series here on Thursday.

Electing to bat, Bangladesh could manage a paltry 88 for four in 20 overs, which the Indians comfortably overhauled with two overs to spare.

The scores: Bangladesh 88 four four in 20 overs (Shukhtara Rahman 27, Farzana Haque 23) lost to India 91 for three in 18 overs (Mona Meshram 29, Anagha Deshpande 28, Panna Ghosh two for 18).
