Indian team not affected by earthquake

January 20, 2014 11:38 pm | Updated November 16, 2021 06:01 pm IST - Hamilton:

M.S. Dhoni and his men were unaffected by the earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 that rocked New Zealand’s North Island on Monday.

Asked whether all the Indian cricketers — who travelled from Napier to Hamilton on Monday were safe — media manager Dr. Baba said the players were secure.

Milne may be out

Meanwhile, fast bowler Adam Milne went for a scan on Monday; he had suffered a side strain in Sunday’s game at Napier.

The indications are that Milne will play no further part in the ODI series.
