The organisers of quadrangular under-19 cricket tournament were happy that the even went off well and the teams from West Indies, Sri Lanka and Australia appreciated the venues, the infrastructure and the hospitality provided to them.

ACA president D.V. Subba Rao said after the final match, in which India won a cliff-hanger final against Sri Lanka that the tournament left happy memories though there were some anxious moments when Sri Lanka started building up its score with singles.

Secretary of ACA G. Gangaraju said Visakhapatnam should host more ODIs. Manager (cricket operations) of BCCI Suru Nayak, ACA vice-president DVSS Somayajulu, secretary of North Zone of ACA N. Prabhakara Rao and administrator of the stadium and coordinator of the tournament B.J.J. Raju were present.
