The India and West Indies team will not arrive in Visakhapatnam on Sunday ahead of their third ODI after flight-services were hit owing to Cyclone Hudhud. Confirming the development, Andhra Cricket Association secretary Gokaraju Gangaraju told The Hindu that the teams would reach the city on Monday if the weather-conditions improved.

“If, by tomorrow, air-connectivity is restored, then there won’t be any problem. Even if they travel in chartered flights, it will be difficult if the airport authorities don’t allow their landing. Everything depends on the weather-conditions tomorrow,” he said on Sunday.

Mr. Gangaraju was hopeful of the match going ahead as scheduled on Tuesday. “So far, not a drop of water has got into the field. We have covered the pitch and the entire outfield. Seventy-per cent of the tickets have been sold by Saturday. The match is fully insured, and if it doesn’t take place, we will completely refund the tickets,” he said.
