Ex-NCA manager Jha dies

Former first-class cricketer A.K. Jha, 57, who until recently also served as manager (administration) with the National Cricket Academy (NCA), passed away on Wednesday evening, following a cardiac arrest while playing golf.

The retired wing commander, represented the Services and Bihar Ranji teams in the 1980s.

Mr. Jha, left the NCA, after the BCCI reduced its staff as part of a cost-cutting measure.
