The world’s leading digital cricket brand and India’s leading digital sport brand, ESPNcricinfo, has launched CricIQ -- the greatest test ever to challenge every fan’s cricket knowledge.

CricIQ is the ultimate cricket challenge, with multiple stages online, via the dynamic digital question platform and video rounds, and culminating in a final event in Bangalore.

CricIQ is a dedicated cricket fan test on a digital platform that includes, a format that gives cricket-crazy fans multiple chances (three attempts a day), an inexhaustible question bank to ensure that no user gets previously attempted questions in any of his future attempts, a fan contest in real time using live videos.

It also includes social media integration at all levels from start to finish, the opportunity to win a trip to Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, a day at ESPNcricinfo, as well as daily prizes.

CricIQ targets the country’s massive fan base by delivering a product, which appeals to three central elements: the huge and passionate base of cricket fans, the love for tests and challenges that exists in India, and the waysthat modern Indian consumers are using digital media.

Ramesh Kumar, Head of ESPNcricinfo and ESPN Digital Media India explains, “CricIQ reinforces ESPN’s commitment to creating fantastic digital experiences for cricket fans. We have used our 20 years of heritage and knowledge and our unmatched collection of news, information and data to bring fans a truly dynamic and engaging experience.

“Starting on fans’ digital devices and culminating in an on-ground finale we want to unite users across platforms and deliver an immersive experience. With CricIQ, we’ve built a property that taps into people’s knowledge of the game and our quest is to honour and celebrate the greatest cricket fans.”

Open to fans of all levels of knowledge, the quiz honours -- and tests -- those who have gone above and beyond the norm in their role as fans. CricIQ will combine leading digital product development and technology with an engaging format, starting from digital and culminating on-ground, to unite users across platforms and deliver an immersive eight-week-long experience.

Hosted by quizmaster Joy Bhattacharya, CricIQ is the ultimate fan IQ matchup with participants from across the country going head-to-head in a battle to be the best.
