The East Zone team arrived in the city on Friday evening ahead of its Duleep Trophy final match against Central Zone, beginning on October 21. Skipper Natraj Behera and batsman Dheeraj Jadhav are expected to join the team on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Central Zone side, which arrived here on Thursday afternoon, practised indoors on Friday owing to persistent rain.
