Krunal Pandya’s five wickets and 25 runs helped host D.Y. Patil Sports Academy ‘A’ beat Air India by 50 runs in the quarterfinals of the all-India Dr. D.Y. Patil T20 Cup on Thursday.

The scores: Canara Bank 162 for six in 20 overs (Mayank Agarwal 47, Amit Verma 58, Shashank Singh two for 21) bt D.Y. Patil ‘B’ 125 in 18.2 overs (Kevin Almeida 33, N.C. Aiyyappa two for 23, Vyshak Vijaykumar two for 22).

D.Y. Patil SA ‘A’ 175 for seven in 20 overs (Shoiab Shaikh 58, Krunal Pandya 25, Raunaq Sharma three for 22, John Abraham three for 24) bt Air India 125 in 18.3 overs (Manish Rao 25, Yuvraj Singh 33, Krunal Pandya five for 17, Deepak Hooda three for 29).

CAG 177 for six in 20 overs (Jalaj Saxena 26, Bravesh Shetty 31, Avi Barot 33, Imtiyaz Ahmed 50, Balwinder Sandhu two for 30, Dinesh Salunke two for 27, Murtuza Hussain two for 43) bt Indian Oil 123 in 16.3 overs (Ravikant Shukla 26, Aditya Tare 50, Shaurya Sanadia four for 22, Ankit Sharma three for 18).

ONGC 81 for nine in 20 overs (Pawan Suyal two for 16, Babasafi Khan Pathan four for 13, Yogesh Nagar two for 18) lost to Reliance-I 82 for one in 10 overs (Parthiv Patel 44 n.o.).
