Hamish Rutherford recently scored a century on Test debut for New Zealand when he made 171 against England at Dunedin. Curiously Hamish’s father Ken Rutherford bagged a pair on Test debut against West Indies in 1985.

In the Test Matches held so far between India and Australia, former Australian all-rounder Tony Mann and Indian wicket-keeper Syed Kirmani share a unique record of scoring centuries while coming in as night-watchmen.

Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for scoring the most international runs in boundaries – 17804. Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting is second with 12600 runs.

In the top five European Leagues (English, Spanish, Italian, French and German), West Ham United goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen has made the most number of saves so far – 121
