Dalmiya re-elected CAB president

The Cricket Association of Bengal re-elected Jagmohan Dalmiya as the president for one more term. All the office-bearers were elected unopposed in the 82nd annual general meeting of CAB on Wednesday.

The two joint secretaries — Sujan Mukherjee and Subir Ganguly — continue in office for another year while Biswarup Dey remains the treasurer. The four vice-presidents — Sambhunath Poddar, Alok Nandy, Malay Kumar Basu and Subhas Kundu — also retain their posts.

While the CAB executive remained the same there was a change in guard in State body’s trustee board. Gautam Dasgupta, who formerly severed as a joint secretary for both BCCI and CAB, was unanimously elected the new trustee board chairman. The trustee board also had four new members in the form of — Russi Jeejeebhoy, Samar Kar, Shibaji Roy and Shivkumar Kalyani.

The CAB executive: President: Jagmohan Dalmiya. Vice-presidents: Alok Nandy, Sambhunath Poddar, Malay Basu, Subhas Kundu. Joint-secretaries: Sujan Mukherjee and Subir Ganguly. Treasurer: Biswarup Dey.

The board of trustees: Gautam Dasgupta (chairman), Shibaji Roy, Shivkumar Kalyani, Russi Jeejeebhoy, Samar Kar.
