The sight of a bespectacled Virender Sehwag at the crease may have surprised onlookers at India’s preparatory camp here, but it has emerged that the batsman was prescribed corrective eyeglasses after complaining of persistent headache.

The doctor advised him so after it was found that he required minor correction.
