Bangar for KXIP, Raman for KKR

Former India player Sanjay Bangar has been named assistant coach of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) for IPL season 7. “It’s a pleasure being associated with KXIP. It will be interesting to have a new team this season, a great challenge and opportunity to train some of the young cricketers.

“I am looking forward to working with the team and I am sure they will please the fans with their exceptional performance,” said Bangar.

Kolkata Knight Riders has announced the appointment of W.V. Raman as batting coach.

“We are delighted to have Raman among our coaching staff. He becomes part of a strong core group of Trevor Bayliss, Wasim Akram and Vijay Dahiya,” said KKR CEO Venky Mysore.
